Reimagine Safety: Mural Reveal & 25th Anniversary Celebration

We’re kicking off ArtPrize 2025 right here at the LINC UP Gallery with the Reimagine Safety Mural Reveal—a night of art, conversation, and community.

🎨 Experience this brand-new mural created by artists Johnny Van Patten of the Linkage Community and Edwin Anderson, who’ve brought their vision of safety to life through bold colors and lived experience. This piece invites us to reimagine what safety looks like beyond policing and punishment — centering healing, connection, and community care.

As we celebrate 25 years of impact, we’re also launching our Build Change fundraiser, calling on 250 supporters to give $25 to help us continue advancing racial equity and affordable housing in Grand Rapids. DONATE HERE!
