Text message program

What you are signing up for. LINC UP sends text messages to people who have opted in. Messages include event and workshop reminders, changes to event details, registration or appointment confirmations, and occasional updates about our programs and services.

Consent. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from LINC UP at that number, including messages sent using an automated system. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything or of receiving any LINC UP program or service. You confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the number and are 18 or older.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies, typically 2 to 6 messages a month, and may be higher around large events.

Costs. LINC UP does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. We will send one confirmation and no further messages. You may also use CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE, or contact us at (616) 451-9140 or info@lincup.org. To rejoin, reply START or sign up again.

Carriers. Our program works with most major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and we do not guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered on time.

Your responsibilities. Give us a number you own or are authorized to use, and tell us if your number changes or you stop using it so another person does not receive your messages.

Privacy. We do not sell your phone number, and we do not share your phone number or text opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
